Proof positive to the contrary can now be seen along the new underpass where Broadway swoops into downtown. There, 14 larger-than life Tucson street scenes tiled onto a concrete wall confirm beautifully how strong roadside art can touch and unify a community."

almost exactly a year earlier, the star ran this article announcing my intentions for the project and opening the public call for submissions of street photos.
